Barbara Dougan
Chairperson
Barbara is the founder and inspiration for the Foundation that bears her name. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Portland State University. She is a member of the Marine Corps Marathon Runners Club, a volunteer with SOLVE (Stop Oregon Litter and Vandalism), and SMART (Start Making a Reader Today).
Kathy Chappell
President
Kathy is a successful entrepreneur establishing and growing a real estate business in Texas. She has a degree from the University of Illinois in Recreaction and started her career working for Non-Profits.
Denise Dougan
Secretary
Denise is retired after 44 years in the mortgage industry. She earned a degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois. She has travelled to Kenya several times and has visited the Foundation’s many diversified projects.
Tess Crick
Director
Serving in the non-profit and for-profit sectors throughout her 35 year career, Tess brings experience in non-profit development and leadership, and with an earlier background in software project management. With a degree in Behavioral Science, Tess is most at home working with people to help them achieve their philanthropic goals.
Brady Dougan
Director
Brady is the former CEO of Credit Suisse investment banking company. He graduated from the University of Chicago with an undergraduate degree in business and a Masters of Business Administartion (MBA) in finance.
Kerry Dougan
Treasurer
Kerry graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Chicago. Later, he added a MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago and a Masters of Science in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering.
